Across the country today, workers lack awareness of clean energy careers, face insufficient training opportunities, and have lingering concerns about job quality.
To address this, Invest in Our Future is funding efforts to:
- Increase recruitment and training of clean energy workers while supporting historically underrepresented workers and communities
- Foster collaborations between industry and labor to improve the quality of clean energy career pathways and establish sector-wide worker standards
- Support communities and local stakeholders in successful negotiations on unique, meaningful community benefit agreements
- Increase opportunities for diverse entrepreneurs to start and grow clean energy businesses
- Tell stories of job creation and other economic benefits generated by clean energy
